Well...
It's been a while.
Actually, it's been months. And yes, I owe you all an update.
First, I'm sorry I disappeared from the blog for so long. Between working a full-time job, writing, editing, and everything else life has decided to throw at me, things have been a little wild behind the scenes.
Okay.
Maybe wild and a little crazy.
But while the blog has been quiet, I haven't stopped writing.
Far from it.
The world of Veil Between Worlds has continued growing, changing, and becoming darker than ever.
And I think it's finally time I brought you back behind the Veil where I now live. 😂
So... What Have I Been Doing?
A lot.
Book Two of the Veil Between Worlds series, The Moon Goddess and the Demon, has been taking up a very large part of my world. And not to mention, a few of the main characters have been telling me it's time to tell their side of the story.
So, I've been writing.
Editing.
Revising.
Formatting.
Cover designs.
Second-guessing things.
Fixing them again.
Reading them again.
And then, because apparently authors enjoy suffering and pulling their hair out, I find something else I want to adjust or a new storyline to tug on. 😂
But this stage matters very much to me.
I don't want to rush a book simply because I'm excited to get it out there and into your hands. I want the story, the characters, the emotions, and the world to feel the way they are supposed to feel when you step through the Veil again.
And Book Two takes us somewhere very different.
If you've already entered this world with The Moon Goddess and the Wolf, you know the Veil is much larger than it first appears.
There are other realms.
Other powers.
Other gods.
And the consequences that haven't finished unfolding.
Book Two pulls you into that world and opens the Veil even further.
And There's Something Else...
The cover for Book Two is finished, and I finally revealed it. ♥
The Moon Goddess and the Demon officially has its face.
The cover is darker, bolder, and more ominous than Book One, and that was very intentional.
I wanted the artwork to feel like the story waiting inside it, for you to unfold.
This isn't the same part of the journey.
The world has changed.
And the Veil is opening wider.
The Book Two cover is now up on the website, and I’ll be sharing more as the book moves through its final stages.
And yes…
I’m also going to make a serious effort not to disappear from this blog for another several months. 😂
No promises that life won’t get chaotic again.
But I have a lot I want to share with you.
Behind-the-scenes updates. Editing progress. Character discussions. Pieces of the world you haven’t seen yet.
And eventually, more about what lies ahead for Veil Between Worlds.
